Beauty Taster Day

With over 48,000 self-employed people in Liverpool, it is essential for our students to know that they can be their own boss and have the ability to run successful businesses! One of our passions at St John Bosco is for all of our students to dream big. What better way to inspire the younger generation than to allow them to take part in these have-a-go beauty workshop. The event features two workshop demonstrations from hairdressing to eyelash application. The tutorials were conducted by two beauty professionals who are successful sisters in the industry!

They spoke with students about the challenges they face when running their own business but also helped our students to acquire new beauty skills, tips and tricks that they can incorporate into their future career plans. One student said “I have loved having this opportunity! It has helped me know what I need to do in the future and I really enjoyed some training – especially the hair foil application. I am grateful for this opportunity that the school has given me and it is important for all of us to take as many opportunities as we can!” Jennifer and Hannah enjoyed working with our school and are looking forward to sharing their expertise with more students in the future.
